Electrical steel, also known as silicon steel sheet, is an indispensable and important soft magnetic alloy in power, electronics and military industries, and is also the most productive metal functional material, which is mainly used as the iron core of various motors, generators and transformers. Its production process is complex and its manufacturing technology is strict. Foreign production technologies are protected in the form of patents, which are regarded as the life of enterprises.
The manufacturing technology and product quality of electrical steel plate is one of the important symbols to measure the production and scientific and technological development level of a country's special steel. The quantity, quality, specifications and grades of cold-rolled electrical steel in China can not meet the needs of the development of energy (electric power) industry, and there is a big gap between China and Japan in production technology, equipment, management and scientific research.
Production process:
Oriented electrical steel: ore-ironmaking-steelmaking-hot rolling-pickling-cold rolling-annealing-cold rolled silicon steel (oriented electrical steel).
Cold rolled coil: ore-ironmaking-steelmaking-hot rolling-pickling-cold rolling-annealing-cold rolled coil.
The key to produce Gaussian textured silicon steel lies in the use of secondary recrystallization. In order to realize secondary recrystallization, it is usually necessary to add normal grain growth inhibitors, such as MnS, to the alloy. The grain growth inhibitor must be dispersed in the alloy matrix in the form of impurities, which can effectively prevent the normal growth of the matrix crystal when secondary recrystallization occurs, and it is required to be easily eliminated in the final high temperature annealing to avoid deteriorating the magnetic properties of the product.
