What is a flying saw? What are its technical characteristics and advantages?

Flying saw is an automatic equipment for cutting high-frequency welded pipe with continuous motion to length, which can realize automatic tracking sawing of welded pipe or section steel at high speed. It is the production equipment of the last process in the welded pipe production line, which has great influence on product quality and production efficiency. In order to accurately cut the fast-moving pipe, the cutter must be accurately matched with the movement of the unit, especially when the speed of the unit changes. The production process requires that the cutter must keep pace with the linear speed of the unit before cutting to length.

Process requirements

When sawing, the saw blade must be synchronized with the running pipe, so as to ensure that when sawing, the saw blade not only rotates around the saw shaft (applying sawing force and power), but also moves at the same speed with the pipe (ensuring that the section of the pipe is straight and will not fly out of the saw blade, causing equipment damage and safety accidents); Flying saws should be able to cut different lengths; Make sure the kerf is straight. That is, in the whole sawing process, the saw blade should be perpendicular to the axis of the steel pipe, and the cutting head should not be bent or straight.

PTF-X 1 is the latest series of cold-cutting flying saws launched by Jinkaida, which brings together the efforts of top experts in Europe, America and the industry and has many patented inventions. It is ahead of similar products in the same industry in speed, accuracy and sawing quality.

PTF-X 1 has many configuration options, which are suitable for different pipelines. Patented intelligent control system, the first intelligent shortcut function, improve output and increase efficiency.
