Hivi speaker unit

From 65438 to 0994, Yao Hongbo, president of hivi, came to a strange Toronto and began hivi's difficult exploration of North America. At that time, hivi established a three-acre R&D and manufacturing center in Toronto, and developed many products, but most of them were traditional hi-fi speakers. Although the product is good, the market has not been opened. So I consulted hivi's North American Marketing Manager, and he told me that the North American audio market was saturated. If you want your products to enter this market and sell on a large scale, you can only enter this market if you come up with innovative products that are different from others. So you can tell them that your products are different and better than your competitors. It's like a room full of people, but there is still a little space. This space is reserved for newcomers with innovative and unique products.

To this end, hivi spent three years developing various innovative speaker products, including the equal magnetic field belt speaker product successfully developed by 1997.

At that time, the magnetic field band tenor was the first in the world, and hivi was also the first audio company to mass-produce the magnetic field band tenor. Immediately after the product went on the market, it was favored by audio manufacturers all over the world, and many manufacturers placed orders one after another, including the top German audio manufacturer Burmester Voice in Berlin.

1998, Mr. Frank Hale, a designer from hivi, designed Swan M 1, the world's first bookshelf mini-speaker, and adopted the constant magnetic field band treble R 1. After its launch, it was warmly welcomed by fans at home and abroad and sold well for 20 years.

Because the idea of innovation has been deeply rooted in hivi's corporate culture as a gene, hivi has been instinctively developing all kinds of new belt tenors, including the ring tenor R1L.

Annular band tweeter is a band tweeter product based on circular diaphragm. To this end, hivi also developed three coaxial full-band speakers, S 1 and Trinity6, and applied for all patents. Only in the later period, because hivi developed a series of new tenors with constant magnetic field belts, hivi gradually eliminated the tenors with ring belts.

Recently, a colleague was suspected of plagiarizing hivi's patented tenor products. Because the incident has nothing to do here, I won't say much. However, that colleague produced a patent document, and I must point out several conclusions here:1:20119 In April, Mr. Philip Jones applied for a patent for flat-panel tweeter in the United States, which was eight years later than the patent in hivi in 2003. The patent shows that the owner of the patent is Mr. Philip Jones. 3. Auditor Curtis Kuntz and Matthew Ethan of the United States Patent Office specifically mentioned in their patents that HiVi hivi has released two similar products. 4. The patent expired on April 20 15 1 day due to arrears. 5. Mr 5.Philip Jones's company is currently a customer of hivi, and has purchased a new generation of magnetic tape tenons in bulk from hivi and used them in its professional products.

Hivi will continue to develop all kinds of new speaker unit products, and strive to provide our customers with all kinds of high-performance and cost-effective speaker products.

The traditional dome tweeter is in a narrow annular permanent magnetic field. The voice coil is connected with the voice coil skeleton through audio current, which drives the spherical diaphragm and pushes the air to generate sound. Voice coil is prone to heat under high power because of its low efficiency. In order to protect the loudspeaker, liquid magnetism is usually added to the magnetic gap to dissipate heat and increase damping. The voice coil and diaphragm are directly fixed with glue; The voice coil is the driver, and the sound is conducted to the diaphragm through the voice coil; It belongs to indirectly driven audio movies. In the traditional dome tweeter field, hivi's 28mm natural fiber soft dome tweeter and 26mm metal hard dome tweeter are well-known in the industry.

Different from the traditional dome treble, the magnetic field band treble such as hivi belongs to an alternative treble with completely different driving structure, and its magnets are symmetrical up and down in a plane matrix arrangement, forming a uniform plane driving magnetic field distribution; Hivi high temperature resistant integrated conductive film is installed in the middle of the magnetic circuit. The diaphragm coil and the diaphragm are integrated. When the audio current passes through the conductive film, it vibrates under the action of the magnetic field force in the uniform magnetic field generated by the magnet, and directly radiates the sound to the free space. As a conductor and a diaphragm, the strip metal conductive film belongs to direct drive, which reduces the phase delay and transmission loss caused by the distance difference between the front and back of the dome shape in the traditional tweeter. Moreover, this kind of diaphragm is very thin and light, with large vibration area and large acoustic impedance, and it is driven integrally in an equal magnetic field. The plane diaphragm vibrates synchronously with the same amplitude, the transient response time is very short, the response speed of high frequency response is extremely fast, the upper limit of high frequency is wide, the distortion is small, the sound wave radiation is uniform, there is almost no resonance in the working frequency band, and the impedance curve is an ideal straight line, so better high frequency resolution can be obtained; The diaphragm can bear a large current instantly, and the analytical force and frequency response curve can still remain relatively unchanged when the sound pressure is as high as 105dB.

In order to test the high temperature resistance of hivi's band treble, we did a high power destruction experiment. As a result, the plastic shell behind the diaphragm was burnt out by high temperature, but the diaphragm inside was only blackened and could continue to work!

Hivi's new generation tenor with equal magnetic field band has a maximum sound pressure level of over 105dB and an audible frequency range of 2kHz-20kHz, i.e. 10 octave, which is very broad and can be widely used in various loudspeaker systems such as 2, 3 and 4 channel frequency division.

A friend often asks why hivi never uses tape speakers in the multimedia field. Hivi introduced the concept of HiFi hi-fi into the multimedia field in the late 1990s, but at that time, Hivi thought that in the multimedia era of desktop PC, the technical requirements of PC-based audio sources for multimedia speakers were not high, and ordinary dome tweeters were enough. In the Internet era, with the continuous improvement of bandwidth, the transmission quality of audio and video will be rapidly improved, and music with high bit rate/sampling rate will be popularized, which will greatly improve the requirements for sound resolution, dynamics and bandwidth of speakers. Hivi's belt tenor, top dome tenor, professional alto, various large-caliber subwoofers and other new drivers will show their unique musical charm in new speaker products.
