(A) 86 version of the shortcomings of Wu Bi font
After years of promotion and use, the 86th edition of Wu Bi Font has made considerable achievements, but with the passage of time, it gradually shows the following shortcomings and deficiencies:
1. can only handle 6763 simplified Chinese characters, but can't handle traditional Chinese characters, which can't fully meet the needs of domestic and foreign users.
2. For some standard radicals, you can't take the whole word code, such as husband, end and so on.
3. The decomposition and stroke order of some Chinese characters do not fully conform to the language and writing norms. For example, the word "I" in the 86th edition of Wang Ma Wu Bi stipulates that the last stroke is an apostrophe, not a dot.
4. Chinese characters need to be split when coding, and some Chinese characters cannot be split at will, otherwise it will conflict with the "text specification".
(B) 98 version of the characteristics of Wu Bi font
Because the 98th edition of Wu Bi Font was developed on the basis of the 86th edition of Wu Bi Font, the 98th Wangcode software contains the original 86th edition of Wu Bi Font Input Method to meet the needs of the old users of the original 86th edition. In addition, it has the following new functions:
1. Dynamic word fetching or batch word creation. Users can take words from the screen at any time in the process of editing articles, and automatically merge them into the original thesaurus for use according to the coding rules; You can also use the thesaurus generator provided by 98-king code to create words in batches.
2. Allow users to edit the code table. Users can directly edit and modify Wu Bi font code and Wu Bi painting code according to their own needs.
3. Realize internal code conversion. Different Chinese platforms use different internal codes. The multi-internal code text converter provided by 98 King Code can be used for internal code conversion to be compatible with different Chinese platforms.
Different Chinese character systems often use different internal codes, such as GB code (national standard code) in China and BIG 5 code (big five code) in Taiwan Province province. The character sets of Chinese character systems with different internal code standards are often different. In order to adapt to a variety of Chinese system platforms, 98 King Code provides a variety of character set processing functions.
4. Multiple versions. 98 Jin Dian series software includes 98 Jin Dian National Standard Edition, 98 Jin Dian Simplified Edition and 98 Jin Dian International Edition.
5. Multi-platform operation. 98 Wang Ma runs well on Chinese platforms such as Windows 3. X/95/98/NT and Stone Li Fang.
6. A variety of input methods. In addition to the old and new versions of Wu Bi font, there are many input methods for 98 Wangma, such as Wangma intelligent pinyin, simple Wu Bi painting, pinyin strokes and so on.
(3) The difference between the 98th edition of Wu Bi font and the 86th edition of Wu Bi font.
The 98th edition of Wu Bi font has made many improvements on the basis of the 86th edition of Wu Bi font. The main differences are as follows:
1. processed more Chinese characters than before. In the 98 King Code, simplified Chinese characters are input when English keys are lowercase and traditional Chinese characters are input when uppercase. In addition to the 6763 standard Chinese characters of GB simplified code, the 98 King Code can also handle 13053 traditional Chinese characters of big five codes and 2 1003 Chinese characters of large character set.
2. Symbol specifications. Because 98 Wang Code established a set of theories of unified compatibility (minimizing the repetition rate of coding), regularity (ensuring that fonts are easy to learn and use) and coordination (the distribution of key symbols is consistent with the functional characteristics of fingers). Therefore, the coding symbols and stroke order of the designed 98-scene code completely conform to the language specification.
3. The coding rules are simple and clear. With its original "non-split coding method", 98 Wang Code simplifies the overall similar stroke structure into the same symbol, and all symbols are used to describe the characteristics of Chinese character stroke structure. Therefore, when encoding Chinese characters, it is not necessary to split the whole word, but just use the original code to get the code.
