The theme of my speech today is "Excellent Pictures in the Era of Technology Explosion: From Traveling Through Mountains to Crossing Hills." Since the development of mankind, every technological revolution has been accompanied by the rise of powerful countries. The maturity of farming technology has created the four ancient civilizations, the steam revolution has created the United Kingdom, and electrification and informatization have created the United States. History has proven that technology has always been the key to the rise of a powerful country.
In the era of digital economy, technology has become the “basic optimal solution” for leap-forward development. Artificial intelligence is becoming one of the main growth points of the future economy. According to Accenture's research on China and 12 developed economies around the world, by 2035, artificial intelligence will help countries significantly reverse the downward trend in economic growth in recent years. With the effective application of artificial intelligence, China's economic growth rate is expected to rise to 7.9%, with growth reaching $7.1 trillion. In addition, according to McKinsey’s predictions, artificial intelligence will contribute 0.8 to 1.4 percentage points to China’s economic growth every year.
As Tencent’s top AI laboratory, Tencent Youtu provides continuous power for the industrial Internet through the continuous output of visual AI capabilities. Currently, Youtu has more than 800 global patents and assists business teams in supporting more than 10 company products. In June this year, we open sourced TNN, a deep learning inference framework. In less than 3 days, The number of stars exceeds 1000. In addition to the continuous improvement of general applications and vertical scenarios of AI technology, we have been thinking about how to bring more help to the industry through AI.
Since Youtu joined the CSIG on September 30, 2018, we have paid more attention to the in-depth integration of AI capabilities and the industrial Internet. Currently, Youtu has exported more than 10 AI atomic capabilities through Tencent Cloud, and joined forces with Tencent Cloud has created more than 30 AI technology solutions and provided technical services to tens of thousands of internal and external customers.
We believe that through cloud + AI, we can better achieve cost reduction and efficiency improvement for enterprises. For example, the TI-Matrix artificial intelligence service platform we jointly built with Tencent Cloud ***, together with our partners, has accumulated a large number of industry models through initial data. Enterprises only need to supplement it with their own data and integrate training. At the same time, it solves the problems of talent and data accumulation. In addition, the method of using it on demand, billing according to volume, and returning it as you use it also solves the cost of enterprise equipment investment and maintenance investment.
With the development of science and technology, after traveling through mountains and rivers, how can we overcome the hills? I think the most important thing is the application scenario. In the process of large-scale implementation of AI, we have accelerated. After a year and a half of continuous technology polishing and service implementation, Tencent Cloud AI public cloud market share currently ranks among the top three in the country, and the number of facial recognition API calls ranks first in the country. Judging from the volume of calls and revenue, in the field of face and body recognition, relying on the face kernel, special effects, and face fusion capabilities provided by Tencent Youtu, Tencent Cloud leads domestic cloud manufacturers in overall market performance.
Let’s introduce our face core technology. In many online scenarios, it is necessary to confirm the user's identity, such as online bank card opening and loan application, ride-hailing driver registration, including health code application, etc. At this time, it is necessary to use face verification products to determine the authenticity of the user and prevent identity fraud and other issues. As early as 2014, Youtu started the research and development of related technologies and pioneered the light living body, which brings the security of face recognition and user experience to a new level. At the same time, technical products are provided through WeChat open platform, Tencent Cloud, etc. to ensure the security of various businesses.
OCR technology is also an important part of visual AI. Currently, we provide efficient text recognition services for finance, insurance, education, logistics and other industries, helping various industries reduce costs and increase efficiency, improve quality and expand coverage. At present, Youtu OCR has reserved more than 20 kinds of multi-lingual text recognition capabilities, covering major international languages. At the same time, it has more than 50 kinds of OCR capabilities incubated for vertical industries. The core scene accuracy is as high as 99%, and it has been widely used in all walks of life.
Let me share with you a case of the implementation of our image recognition technology in industry. The AI ??quality inspection project uses artificial intelligence to build a defect classification model to identify and classify pictures sent in real time from the production line, allowing machines to replace the original manual work of identifying pictures and classifying defects, realizing human replacement and accelerating abnormal feedback and processing. Its principle is actually to use image recognition technology to bring AI changes to traditional industrial quality inspection. This technology has been applied in multiple industries, including the familiar image review technology, and its principles are the same.
In the pan-entertainment scenario, we have incubated more than 30 AI capabilities including face fusion and portrait segmentation, helping pan-entertainment industries such as social applications, short video live broadcasts, games and movies, and interactive marketing to become more comprehensive. Lively and interesting.
At the beginning of this year, Peace Elite used face fusion technology for the first time. Users can choose to take photos with members of Rocket Girls 101. During the epidemic, remote working replaced on-site work, and Tencent Conference became an office necessity. The portrait segmentation capability provided by Youtu in Tencent Conference allows users to customize the video conference background and hold meetings anytime, anywhere, wherever they want.

In terms of ecological cooperation, Youtu has teamed up with Tencent Industry Accelerator to provide partners with a wealth of application scenarios and technical support. What are the "stars in the universe" that science and technology look up to? In Tencent's vision, there are four words: technology for good. In the Internet age, bad information is rampant. As a father of two children, growing up in such an online environment, I am actually very worried. We hope that AI can better serve society.
