The origin of robots

Robot is a new term that appeared in the 20th century. 1920, Czech playwright Capec put forward the word robot for the first time in the script of Rosam Universal Robot Company. Robot evolved from the old Slavic word robota, which originally meant forced labor. Capek coined a new word robot with the meaning of slave machine under the background of the rapid development of technology and production after the industrial revolution in the 20th century. It reflects that human beings want to create a thinking and working machine to replace their own work. Making robots come true is the story of the first robot after the emergence of industrial robots in the 20th century. With the development of human beings in the 20th century and the refinement of social division of labor, people engaged in simple and repetitive work are eager to have some kind of machine that can replace their own work. From 65438 to 0954, electronic scientist Devall obtained a patent for a programmable manipulator, which is similar to a human arm. It works according to a program and can be compiled according to different work needs, which is universal and flexible. 1958 engelberg and Dewar made the first robot together.
