Because fluorine is the most electronegative element. Therefore, the introduction of fluorine atoms makes perfluoroorganic compounds have unique physical properties, chemical properties and physiological activities, and makes perfluoroorganic compounds have chemical stability, surface activity and excellent temperature resistance. Therefore, in many cutting-edge technologies and major industrial projects, as well as in medicine, pesticides and other industries, perfluorochemicals have been widely and deeply studied and applied.
In recent years, there have been some reports about the hazards of perfluorochemicals. Perfluorinated compounds are mainly distributed in blood, liver, kidney, heart and muscle of animals. They are stable in nature, difficult to decompose and toxic to many organs of human body. The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) have listed perfluorinated compounds as "substances that may cause cancer". The effective establishment of this technical model can accurately monitor the pollution level of perfluorochemicals in animal-derived foods such as meat products, aquatic products and dairy products.
At present, Fujian Quality Inspection Institute has successfully established a technical model for rapid monitoring of perfluorinated compounds in animal food, which can monitor organic pollutants in food.
