Commutation of criminals' invention patents

Legal subjectivity:

Commutation refers to a penalty execution system in which criminals sentenced to public surveillance, criminal detention, fixed-term imprisonment or life imprisonment repent or perform meritorious service during the execution of the penalty, thus appropriately reducing the original sentence. The essential condition for "being able to" reduce the sentence is that the prisoner earnestly abides by the prison regulations, accepts education and reform, and does repent or perform meritorious service during the execution of the penalty. True repentance means: 1. Plead guilty and serve the law during the execution of punishment; 2, always abide by the code of conduct for the reform of criminals and regulatory rules and disciplines; 3. Actively participate in political, cultural and technical studies; 4. Take an active part in labor, take good care of public property and complete labor tasks.

Legal objectivity:

Article 78 of the Criminal Law A criminal sentenced to public surveillance, criminal detention, fixed-term imprisonment or life imprisonment may have his sentence reduced if, during the execution period, he consciously abides by prison regulations, accepts education and reform, and truly shows repentance or meritorious service; Those who have made one of the following major meritorious deeds shall be given a reduced sentence: (1) preventing others from engaging in major criminal activities; (2) reporting major criminal activities inside and outside the prison, which is verified by investigation; (three) there are inventions or major technological innovations; (4) sacrificing oneself to save others in daily production and life; (five) outstanding performance in resisting natural disasters or eliminating major accidents; (6) Having made other significant contributions to the country and society.
