Briefly introduce the history and founder of the Internet.

Internet originated from ARPAnet established by ARPA, the predecessor of DARPA, and was put into use in 1969. Since 1960s, ARPA has been providing funds to computer departments of American universities and some private limited companies to promote the research of computer networks based on packet switching technology. 1968, ARPA established the ARPAnet network project. The leading idea of this project is that the network must be able to withstand the test of failure and keep working normally. In the case of war, when a part of the network loses its working ability due to an attack, other parts of the network should be able to maintain normal communication. At first, ARPANET was mainly used for military research purposes.

Simply put, it was first used in the military. Inventor: Tim Berners Lee.

Tim Berners - Lee

Bonasse Lee is regarded as the inventor of the world Internet. Bonnasse Lee invented the Internet during his tenure at CERN from 65438 to 0990. Internet enables hundreds of millions of people to use huge network resources. Bonnasse Lee didn't apply for a patent for his invention or restrict its use, but made his invention public for free, thus making the Internet develop at an unprecedented speed. Without Bonasera Lee's invention, there would be no "WWW" website today. Internet may still be the exclusive domain of a few computer experts.

The Finnish Technology Foundation awarded him 654.38+0 million euros (US$ 654.38+0.2 million) in recognition of his contribution to the Internet.
