Are you Taiwanese? It seems that there are no patent attorneys in mainland China, but patent agents.
Chinese citizens who support the Constitution of the People's Republic of China and meet the following conditions can register for the National Patent Agent Qualification Examination:
(1) Over 18 years old, Have full capacity for civil conduct;
(2) Graduated from a college majoring in science and engineering or have equivalent academic qualifications;
(3) Familiar with patent law and relevant legal knowledge;
(4) Have engaged in scientific and technological work or legal work for more than two years.
Graduation from science and engineering majors in colleges and universities refers to obtaining a nationally recognized college degree or above in science and engineering and obtaining a diploma.
The following registration materials need to be submitted:
(1) Registration form for the 2009 National Patent Agent Qualification Examination;
(2) Valid identity document (resident ID card, military officer ID card, passport, permanent resident ID card) original and copy;
(3) Original and copy of academic certificate;
(4) Original work certificate;
(5) 3 recent one-inch color bareheaded photos;
(6) Examination registration fee.
Note that applicants who choose to take the exam in Shenyang, Jinan and Guangzhou and register online must scan the original ID and then upload it when registering. They must bring the original ID with them for on-site confirmation.
