Who created the Rubik's Cube?

The most traditional third-order Rubik's Cube was created by a Hungarian math teacher to cultivate students' sense of geometry. This person calls it Lubic (I forget my last name or my first name). China's book How to Play the Rubik's Cube, published in 1980s, introduced that it took him three months to recover for the first time.
