IMX378 has12 million pixels, and its biggest feature is its oversized size of 1/2.3 inches. It is the largest CMOS sensor used in mobile phones so far. Simply put, it is exactly the same size as an ordinary digital camera. Its diagonal dimension is 1/2.3 inches (7.8 1 mm).
