Fire-resistant fiber cloth is suitable for welding and other places where sparks are likely to cause fire. It can resist sparks, slag, welding spatter, etc., so as to isolate the workplace, separate the working layer and eliminate the fire danger that may be caused during welding. After different coatings or composite treatments (PVC, chlorotincture, silica gel, aluminum foil, etc.), the fire-resistant fiber cloth can achieve different use effects: waterproof, wear-resistant, fire-resistant, oil-resistant, thermal reflection, improved temperature resistance and heat preservation time. It is suggested to use vermiculite coated glass fiber fabric or high silica fiber woven fabric when the object temperature is above 55℃. The uncoated material of refractory fiber cloth is generally softer and more suitable for covering objects. Refractory fiber cloth with a thickness of less than .6mm should be placed on a vertical surface to make the spark fall after the first contact and avoid the breakdown of the refractory fiber cloth; Fire-resistant fiber cloth with a thickness greater than .6mm should be used on the horizontal plane.
