This is the first model in the world that can restore and analyze the total body injury caused by vehicle collision. In the previous automobile safety experiments, most dummies with the same weight were used. In contrast, THUMS can restore the shape and strength of human body more accurately, and can analyze the damage caused by collision in more detail. At the same time, THUMS can greatly reduce the time and economic cost of collision experiments based on computer simulation of different scenes.
Pedestrian and driver model
At present, THUMS has been used by more than 65,438+000 automobile, spare parts enterprises, universities and research institutions at home and abroad, mainly aiming at the adjustment and innovation of seat belts, airbags and pedestrian accidents, with the aim of protecting people as much as possible when various traffic accidents occur.
