thermal insulation
First: waterproof ability, above 10000mm, basically rainproof. At present, the top ski suit on the market can reach 28000 mm
In the snow and ice environment, if your clothes are not waterproof, when you slide, the overwhelming snowflakes will melt into water, penetrate into the pores of your clothes and touch your skin. The snow and ice water at MINUS ten degrees will definitely make your body react at low temperature and cause physical discomfort. Waterproof ability and windproof ability complement each other, and the waterproof and windproof effect is good. The wind in the snowfield is strong and urgent. If the clothes you wear are not windproof, it is equivalent to throwing people into the quick-freezing cabinet. The cold wind will quickly take away the heat from your body, and you will quickly lose your body temperature and heart and lung failure. If it is serious, it will go into shock, not to mention strenuous skiing.
Second: Absorb sweat and breathe freely, it is best to choose breathable materials above 5000g, and the most people choose about 20000g g.
Not only the snow outside, but also the body will produce a lot of sweat due to strenuous exercise during sliding, so you need a clothes with good permeability to absorb and discharge sweat in time. Otherwise, in the extremely cold environment of the snowfield, when you rest, a lot of sweat will freeze quickly because of the temperature difference between inside and outside, which may seriously lead to frostbite.
hypothermia
Wear-resistant nylon > polyester > cotton
Commonly used to mark 50D, 75D, 100D, the larger the number, the more textile threads. Generally, the material of ski clothes is polyester or nylon, or the mixed material will be represented by the letter P or N.
Functional utility > face value
Number one: pockets. Common ski suits are equipped with multiple sealed zipper pockets, with pockets for putting snow cards on the wrist, pockets for putting glasses and other sundries on the chest and sides, and electronic devices such as mobile phones are placed near the built-in pockets. Some protective suits even add insulation layers to the built-in pockets (for example, the new snow line this year).
fundamental function
Second: tie the rope. Generally, the collar, cuffs and waist are equipped with rope-like zippers that can be tightened to prevent ice and snow from flowing backwards, and the hood is equipped with an adjustable helmet, which is convenient to wear.
Third: heat dissipation. Zipper vent holes are often arranged under the armpits and inside the limbs to facilitate heat dissipation.
Fourth: recco avalanche rescue sensor. Generally, only high-end ski suits are available, similar to positioning radar, covering 30-200m, which is convenient for search and rescue personnel to locate at the first time in an emergency (such as several sets of high-end ski suits of Archaeopteryx).

Fifth: If it is wild snow, brightly colored ski suits are better than white ski suits. If you are a novice, it is good to like it yourself.
