Microsoft's new patent: keyboard with pressure-sensitive screen

According to foreign media reports, a new patent of Microsoft was unveiled. In July this year, Microsoft applied for a patent entitled "Keyboard with pressure-sensitive screen device". From the schematic diagram of the new patent, Microsoft plans to combine the keyboard with the pressure-sensitive touch screen to realize different types of input and control.

According to Microsoft's patent, this text input method is more than 20% more accurate than the standard QWERTY keyboard input, and it can also reduce the number of peripheral products used by users. This is similar to Apple's TouchBar. Microsoft peripherals can also be implemented in many ways, and the content displayed on the small screen will change according to different applications on the current display screen.

This new product patented by Microsoft looks quite practical and interesting. On the one hand, it can greatly improve the input efficiency for users who use non-Roman characters, on the other hand, it can be sold as a separate peripheral product as a competitor of TouchBar.

At present, ordinary standard keyboard keys are simply not enough to display characters in complex languages, so users need to switch various menus on the screen to fully use them. Microsoft's patented device can reduce the time spent by users switching between mouse, screen and keyboard. Just click on the touch screen next to the keyboard to switch the required options.

We look forward to seeing Microsoft's pressure-sensitive screen keyboard as soon as possible.
