Introduction of Miao Jun's Main Contributions

One of the main contributions is to propose the original face detection core technology "face gravity center template". In 22, this technology passed the appraisal of scientific and technological achievements of China Academy of Sciences at the appraisal meeting of "the core technology of face detection and recognition", and it has been applied in Yunnan Construction Bank system. At the same time, the research results were introduced in the column "Approaching Science" of CCTV-1 channel. The project "Face Recognition System and Its Application" including this technology won the first prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress and the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress in 23 and 25 respectively. The second main contribution: An original "visual perception-eye movement control neural network" system model for automatic target search and recognition is proposed. This model is different from the traditional ergodic target search and recognition model. The context spatial relationship of the image target is sparsely encoded by what and where advanced perceptual cognitive neurons, and then the position and category of the target are inferred and recognized. The above research contents have been published in nearly 3 international and domestic journals and conference papers respectively. Among them, 4 were retrieved by SCI, 11 by EI and 5 by ISPEC. Four articles have been cited by others for 23 times by SCI, nine articles have been cited by others for 25 times by CSCD, and the single article published in the internationally renowned publication Pattern Recognition has been cited by others for 16 times by SCI in 26. Up to 27, 11 articles were cited 152 times by Google Scholar, among which a single article published in the internationally renowned publication Pattern Recognition was cited 111 times. Eight patents have been applied for related technologies, one of which was authorized in 26. During my master's and doctoral studies, I won a total of 7 awards from the state, Shanghai, foreign-invested research institutes, Chinese Academy of Sciences and universities, including Microsoft Scholarship (2) and Dean's Scholarship of Chinese Academy of Sciences (25).
