(1) Application conditions for gold award, silver award and merit award of Guangdong patent
1. The reporting entity is the patentee or implementing entity registered within the administrative region of this province and with independent legal personality;
2. Inventions, utility models or design patents (except national defense patents and confidential patents) that have been granted patents by China National Intellectual Property Administration one month before the announcement of the selection activities;
3. The patent right is valid and stable, there is no dispute over the ownership of the patent, the inventor or the designer, and the patent right is not in the procedure of requesting invalidation;
4. The patent has strong innovation, high technical level or unique design, and has achieved remarkable economic or social benefits after implementation;
5. The patented technology and its products conform to the national and provincial industrial and environmental protection policies;
6. There are relatively perfect patent protection measures;
7. The patent has not won the China Patent Award or the Guangdong Patent Award.
(2) Application conditions for outstanding inventors in Guangdong Province
1. The applicant is a patent inventor or designer in China who lives within the administrative region of this province;
2. Support the line, principles and policies of the party and the country, abide by the law, and have good social ethics and professional ethics;
3. The applicant is engaged in technological innovation. Personnel who are only engaged in organizational management and auxiliary services shall not be candidates for the Guangdong Outstanding Inventor Award;
4. The applicant has a strong sense of innovation and a high ability of invention and creation, and is the first inventor or designer who has obtained an authorized patent;
5. The patent has been implemented or used, which has achieved remarkable economic, social or ecological benefits and made substantial contributions to promoting technological progress in related fields;
6. There is no patent ownership dispute or inventor qualification dispute;
7. The applicant has not won the Guangdong Outstanding Inventor Award.
