Personal profile of Zheng Ping

Zheng Ping, born in May, 1962, doctor, professor, doctoral supervisor, from Jinhua, Zhejiang. He is currently the director of the Department of Environmental Engineering of Zhejiang University, the director of the Institute of Environmental Ecological Engineering, the executive director of China Biogas Society, the member of chinese society for microbiology Environmental Microbiology Professional Committee, the vice chairman of Zhejiang Platform Council, and the editorial board of the magazine Environmental Engineering Technology, Environmental Pollution Prevention and Industrial Water and Wastewater. Teaching in 1985, has been engaged in the teaching and scientific research of environmental microorganisms and wastewater biological treatment. 1994- 1995, visiting scholar at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. In 2002-2003, I went to the University of Hong Kong for cooperative research. In 2004, it was selected as "Zhejiang New Century 15 1 Talent Project". He has undertaken more than 0 courses 10 in theory and technology of environmental microbiology, environmental biology and garbage biology department, and published environmental microbiology course (Higher Education Press, 20 10), garbage biological treatment (Higher Education Press, 2006) and new biological denitrification theory and technology (Science Press, 2004). The teaching achievement won the first prize of Zhejiang University Excellent Teaching Achievement1(in 2008) and the first prize of Zhejiang Excellent Teaching Achievement1(in 2009). From 65438-0997-2000, he went to Yaounde University, Cameroon, and was awarded the Presidential Knight of Cameroon. He has undertaken more than 30 projects at or above the provincial and ministerial level, such as "Research on New Biological Nitrogen Removal Strains, Processes and Devices" (National 863 Plan Project). He has published more than 250 academic papers in famous journals at home and abroad, such as China Science, Water Research and Biological Resources Technology, among which more than 80 papers have been included by SCI and EI. Scientific research achievements won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award 1 item, 7 provincial and ministerial science and technology progress awards and 3 bureau-level science and technology progress awards; 62 national patents were applied for or authorized, including 14 national invention patents and 23 national new and utility model patents. Master students majoring in microbiology and environmental engineering enrolled in 1995 and 1997 respectively, doctoral students majoring in environmental engineering and microbiology enrolled in 2000 and 2004, and postdoctoral students majoring in environmental engineering were trained in 2003. Main research contents: (1) Theory and technology of wastewater biological treatment, focusing on the theory and technology of anaerobic biological treatment of organic wastewater; (2) Theory and technology of biological denitrification of wastewater, with emphasis on short-cut nitrification and anaerobic ammonium oxidation; (3) The theory and technology of biological phosphorus removal from wastewater, focusing on the theory and technology of excessive phosphorus absorption by bacteria and biological reduction of phosphate.
