Selection and Extraction of Couplets in Study: Comfort (Part Two, Part Four)

We continue to say "ease" and continue to look at the leisure of literati at home.

Let's look at Mr. Dai Xi (180 1- 1860):

The sea of clouds is connected, the piano is moist, and the wind is cool with the tide.

? This pair of "even the sea of clouds is smooth in Chyi Chin, and the wind is cool with the tide". The first part is written as "elegance" and the second part is written as "leisure", which has both great boldness of vision and little interest.

? We talk more about "leisure and elegance" from the positive side, so let's look at its negative side.

? If you are not "idle", you are "busy", and "busy" means "dead heart"-what is the meaning of life when your heart is dead?

? If you are not "elegant", your "leisure" will be eroded by low-level tastes, and the poems and distant places you once yearned for will only become more and more slim in confusion. ?

? Then look at Mr. Zuo Tang Zong (18 12- 1885):

Counting stones to save the mountain means that a curtain of flowers can get the spirit of the moon.

? This is really a "talk about Wan Li" and "a few stones make the mountain majestic, and a curtain of flowers reflects the moon".

The bonsai is still the bonsai, and the flower shadow is still the flower shadow, but with a pair of eyes that discover beauty, life is different from now on.

Let's see if Mr. He Zhu Chao is not (166 1- 1722):

Pavilions and pavilions are full of moons, and there are clouds everywhere in Gai Lou.

? This pair of "small officials are partial to the moon, and good clouds cover the balcony everywhere" is the beauty of high-rise residential buildings-clear night is clear for the moon, and clouds can be seen during the day. The breadth of vision and breadth of mind make this tall building far behind.

When a developer sells a building, the higher the floor, the higher the price, perhaps because the higher the residence, the wider the horizon. If you live in a tall building, this pair of study couplets may be more appropriate.

? The first part here comes from the seven laws of Pi Rixiu, a poet in the late Tang Dynasty, "There are two people in a summer scene, one of them". The original poem is as follows:

In the twilight of the scene, plum blossoms are being sent away, and you escape from the cup in summer.

When the spray dispersed, fish eggs and sheep teeth were harvested together with bamboo embryos.

Most of the noisy halls are partial to the moon, so you won't hear thunder when you are drunk.

What's more, they only stay for guests, but they are afraid that monks will not come.

The second part comes from Luo Yin, who was also a poet in the late Tang Dynasty. The title of this poem is "Cheng Wei meets an old friend/Miangu sends Cai's Kunzhong". The original poem is as follows:

Visit Jincheng twice a year, before the east wind and after the autumn.

All kinds of grass and living things hinder horses, and there are good clouds everywhere in Gai Lou.

The mountain is heartbroken without hatred, and the water falls into the dream stream.

Today, because you try to look back, the light smoke tree is separated from Mianzhou.

? Then look at Teacher Zhao Jun (159 1- 1640):

This tree is a good frequency-shifting sofa, and Yun Qi won't go downstairs.

The first part of the book, "The tree is a good frequency-shifting sofa", means that there are all kinds of green trees, so I just look left and right, look back and enjoy them from all angles.

The second couplet "Yun Qi doesn't go downstairs" means that the fantasy of Baiyun is uncertain. I watch them gather and disperse, which makes me reluctant to go downstairs.

The first part tells me that the tree doesn't move, and the second part tells me not to move, move and be quiet, and write elegantly.

This couplet is from Yu Xing written by Li Shangyin, a poet in the late Tang Dynasty. The original poem is as follows:

Bohuan is still ill, and he travels far away without knowing it.

Be polite to the guests and don't go on a ghost search. ?

This tree is a good frequency-shifting sofa, and Yun Qi won't go downstairs.

No scenery, no homesickness.

Let's look at Mr. Zhang Daqian again (1799- 1983):

Qian Bi made wine at home, and Xiaohong tried to grow flowers at first.

This pair of "light green home-brewed, Xiaohong first tasted hand-planted flowers" said-drinking home-brewed wine, enjoying the flowers planted, being self-sufficient, entertaining herself, and being happy.

Ancient ancestors sang "The Song of Digging the Earth" well;

Do it at sunrise, rest at sunset, dig wells and drink, plow fields and eat. What is Dili to me?

What this couplet says and what this song sings are closely related to my heart.

Mr. Bao, a political scholar, said that if there were no wars, people would not need to be organized into a country. If the country wants to gather loose people together and form the greatest resultant force, it is bound to deprive people of many freedoms by coercive means. Because loose sand cannot form the force of 1+ 1=2, let alone 1+ 1 > 2.

The contradiction between enjoying the sense of security brought by great unity and fighting for the freedom deprived by powerful organizations is always in struggle. During the war, we need the collective first, because there are eggs under the nest? Usually, you can give priority to individuals, because the purpose of holding a group to keep warm is not to pursue personal happiness.

? So, let's not laugh at Lao Tzu's pedantry. What he called "a small country with few people" is a state of personal freedom and happiness without the threat of war;

A small country with few people makes people need something but not use it, and makes people die without moving far away. Although there is a boat, there is nothing to sit on. Although there are soldiers, there is nothing to show off. Let people use it again. Be willing to eat, wear, live and enjoy. When neighboring countries confront each other, the voices of chickens and dogs are endless, and the people are miserable until they die.

? -Chapter 80 of Tao Te Ching

This couplet comes from the seven laws "Sleeping in the Garden" written by Lu You, a poet in the Southern Song Dynasty. The original poem is as follows:

Spring breeze suddenly spread all over the world, and I can still lead the world.

Light blue and careful home brewing, Xiaohong tried to grow flowers for the first time.

Savages tend to lose their liver and lungs. As the saying goes, who can lose a tooth?

I want to save trouble on earth, hook the ants back and let the bees fly.

Then look at Mr. Wu Changshuo (1844- 1927):

I plant miscellaneous flowers in a small garden, and I like to have a rest when the weather is fine.

This pair of "occasionally planting miscellaneous flowers into a small nursery and having a happy rest on a good day" is most suitable for the happy life of today's retired cadres-planting flowers and raising grass, one second is one second; The people are healthy and the country is prosperous. If we catch up with the prosperous times, we will enjoy peace.

Let's take a look at Liang Shanzhou (1723- 18 15):

One room is ancient, and flowers and bamboo are leisurely at four o'clock.

This pair of "one room respects foreigners and has many ancient meanings, and flowers and bamboos enjoy leisure in four seasons". The first part talks about respecting Yi cultural relics, and the second part talks about gardening with flowers and bamboos. They all like to talk with the ancients and prefer to get along with nature. How many people can get this elegance through ancient and modern times?

Then look at Mr. Wang Wenzhi (1730- 1802):

Flowers bloom every other courtyard, incense enters first, and trees are green next door.

This pair of "flowers bloom every other courtyard, incense enters first, and trees are borrowed from the green next door", which is very detached-enjoying the fragrant flowers and green trees of other people's homes with peace of mind, and a pair of selfless feelings of "the world is public".

Economist Qin said that there is no efficiency without property rights, and there is no human rights without property rights. Without the British patent system, Watt could not have improved the general steam engine so early. The history of rapid economic development since the industrial revolution is a history of encouraging the efficiency of property rights.

However, just as air can't be privately owned by individuals (or groups), property rights can't delimit the boundaries of everything in the world. For the fragrance of flowers and the color of trees, what I can see is what I get, and what I can enjoy is what I have.

Let's look at a pair of Mr. Chandian (1744- 1806):

In order to find Hua Meng to rise first, the shutter door is waiting for Yan to return.

This pair of "in order to find Hua Meng first, the shutter door and other faces will return" is also a quiet move. The first part said to get up early and peek at Hua Meng, and the second part said to sit around and wait for Yan to return. Still leisurely and elegant, but also vivid and gratifying.

Then look at Mr. Qian Nanyuan (1740- 1795):

The books on the shelf are really rich, and nothing in the box is immortal.

This pair of "books on the shelf are really rich, and nothing in the chest is immortal" looks quite suitable for people who are eager to learn and indifferent. The meaning of the first couplet is-thick clothes mixed with wine marks, poetry in the belly. There are tens of thousands of eyes, and there is not enough money outside! After all, the so-called immortal is carefree. I am like a fairy without worldly troubles.

Finally, look at Mr. Yang Yisun (1812-1881):

Lazy like to sleep with a glass, but lazy about playing chess.

The first part of the book "Lazy love to raise a glass and sleep beautifully" says-I am so quiet and restless that I always sleep soundly after drinking a few cups every day;

The second part of Quietly Suspected Chess said-I am open-minded and don't like to bother to play chess. I don't like the pain of worrying and calculating step by step.

This poem comes from Mr. Lu You's seven laws "Living in a secluded room". The original poem is as follows:

Years on earth are hard (qιn Ma Benteng),

Bai Shou never tired of living in seclusion.

Lazy and sleepy,

Indifferent to the motivation of playing chess.

Giant deer sandals (double tent shoes) in the wild crossing in the mountain village,

Night snow and morning frost are a blanket.

In less than 30 years,

Dream of going to Lindong with towels and bowls.

Mr. Lu You's poems in his later years are more serene and natural than Tao Yuanming's and more lively than Wang Mo's. The elegance and calmness of a gentleman is just around the corner after a thousand years.
