Steel-passing parts are mechanical structural parts that guide rolled products through calipers. They are mainly composed of steel inlet guide groove, steel outlet guide groove, air guide sleeve, water jacket and other parts. Among them, the steel inlet guide groove and the steel outlet guide groove are parts that are in direct contact with the rolled material, and their functions are to guide the rolled material and ensure that the rolled material passes through the caliper safely. A certain gap is left between the steel inlet and outlet guide grooves as a measuring area, and the light emitted by the emitting lens is emitted to the receiving lens through the measuring area. Steel inlet and outlet guide grooves are vulnerable parts. In order to ensure its service life, the guide grooves of Peng Lan calipers are all made of wear-resistant ductile iron.
There are two kinds of steel-passing parts of LPXJ40.8 wire gauge: one is an independent steel-passing part; The other is a non-independent steel passing part.
A, independent steel parts:
Independent steel parts refer to steel parts that are independent of the calipers and are not connected or contacted with the calipers. When using independent steel parts, a large hole is left in the center of the caliper, and the steel inlet and outlet guide groove extends into the hole, leaving a light clearance. The steel import and export guide groove can be manufactured by our company, or the general guide groove on the production line can be directly used.
In addition, if the caliper is installed after water seepage, the water seal effect of the water seepage equipment is not good, and the water hanging on the rolled material is serious. When using independent steel-passing parts, a back-blowing structure should be added before or on the steel guide groove to blow off the water and oxidized dust on the rolled material, so as not to affect the measuring accuracy of the caliper.
Second, dependent steel parts
Non-independent steel parts are steel parts installed on calipers. The non-independent steel-passing parts of Peng Lan calipers are manufactured by our patented technology "Integrated Technology of Positive Pressure Split Cooling and Dust Prevention" (patent number: ZL201420191671.6).
There is high-pressure clean cold air sent by the blower in the caliper body. Because the other parts of the caliper are sealed, cold air can only enter the steel sleeve (that is, the steel guide groove) and the air guide sleeve from the light-transmitting gap between the two air guide sleeves. The cold air entering the steel sleeve forms a wind layer around the rolled material, taking away most of the heat emitted by the rolled material; The cold air entering the dome will scour the cooling fin of the steel sleeve to cool the steel guide groove. At the same time, the cold air continuously entering the calipers will also cool the photoelectric elements in the car, so that the temperature of the photoelectric elements can be kept within its working temperature range. In addition, because the cold air must be distributed through the light-transmitting gap, under the action of wind pressure, the water and dust carried by the rolled material cannot enter the caliper, thus achieving the dust-proof effect.
