The scientific research projects that participated in the completion and won awards include: "Development of intelligent PH measuring and controlling instrument of expert system", which won the second prize of scientific and technological progress of the former Ministry of Machinery 1995 (ranked second); "Development of Health Liquid Protective Gloves", 1996 won the third prize of scientific and technological progress of Luoyang Science and Technology Commission (ranked second); Structural Characterization of Polypropylene Catalytic Alloy won the first prize of Henan Natural Science Paper in 2004 (ranked first); "Preparation of Polypropylene Clay Nanocomposites by In-situ Rafting-Melt Interleaving" won the first prize of Henan Natural Science Paper in 2005 (ranked first).
He has published more than 50 papers, including SCI and EI papers 12, ISTP papers 2 and invention patents 1. At present, he is mainly engaged in the synthesis and application research of high-performance polymers and functional polymers, and directs 1 Ph.D. and 1 Master to study olefin metathesis polymerization and its nanocomposites; In 2005, he was rated as an outstanding scientific researcher of Henan University of Science and Technology; In 2004 and 2006, he was rated as an excellent tutor for master students by the school.
