Why do bullets and bull sockets use strange screws?

I used this bull socket. The socket has special-shaped screws, and conventional screws are used to fix the wires at the front end. I think this is a very good design. The structure of the socket part does not need to be opened by the user, that is to say, this part of the area should be protected. Under normal circumstances, this position does not need to be opened at all to prevent other operations from going wrong. The first time I used a screwdriver with a big brain hole, I found this specification open. As a result, I found that the structure inside didn't need us to deal with it at all, just connecting the front wire. ?

To tell the truth, bullet and bull socket are very good brands in the field of sockets. Bullet is a very old brand, probably because of poor marketing, so its reputation is not as big as before, but its quality is as reliable as ever. Bull socket came from behind, and the quality was good. Personally, I feel that the bullet socket is more cost-effective than the bull socket, probably because it is not as famous as before, so it is cheaper. ?

I don't know what a bull socket is. The two plugs used at home are bullet sockets. Let me talk about the bullet socket! One of them is a wireless socket (you need to connect the power cord yourself). I don't remember the exact time. I bought it on 15 according to the production date. The other socket is a wired socket (the power cord is connected in advance), which was bought in March this year. ?

As can be seen from the above, this wireless socket needs to be wired by itself, so the screw is a conventional cross screw. Let's look at that wired socket again, shall we? ?

As can be seen from the above picture, the screw on this wired socket is special, and it cannot be removed without a special screwdriver. Why do they all use grotesque screws? I think there are two reasons, the first is safety, and the second is to increase sales.

I think this is easy to understand! Electricity is very dangerous. Sockets belong to electrical appliances. The safety of life and property is unreliable. A good quality socket can be used for several years. I used to use the bullet socket for more than ten years, because the plastic was aging and the back was broken. Now this socket has been used for 5 years, and there is still no problem. Switch flexibility and insertion tightness are good. Since there is nothing wrong with the product when it is designed, there is absolutely no need for users to disassemble it. Dismantling it will only increase risk and unreliability. ?

Don't tell me that if it is an ordinary screw, it is convenient to replace the power cord by burning it. Since you know so much electrical technology, don't you even know how much load the socket can carry? And let the socket burn the power cord? Don't think that you can connect the live wire and neutral wire, just because you know electrician and can connect the socket properly? Do you know how many sockets have burned out because of the weak connection of wires? ?

And today's children have strong hands-on ability and are full of curiosity about the world; Many six or seven-year-old children will take a screwdriver to open this and install that! This situation can be completely avoided if the special-shaped screws are replaced. ?

That's my answer. If you have any other shortcomings or questions, please comment!
