How to change the faucet
1. Close the main valve: when replacing, close the main water valve first.
2. Dismantle the faucet: clamp the faucet joint with adjustable wrench, adjust the opening size of the wrench, and unscrew the old faucet counterclockwise. It will be difficult at first, just try more. The faucet will not be hard after the activity, and it can be directly screwed off by hand.
3. Remove impurities: After the faucet is removed, there will be residual impurities at the interface, so clean impurities should be removed.
4. Wrap the hose: wrap the hose clockwise for several times and evenly.
5. Install the faucet: Install a new faucet at the interface, which can be screwed by hand first, and then tightened with a wrench to adjust the angle of the faucet.
6. Test water leakage: Open the main water valve and test whether the faucet leaks. If there is water leakage, you need to unscrew the faucet and reinstall it.
What if the faucet is broken?
Although the faucet is not a consumable, it sometimes breaks down, and the water keeps flowing and it can't be turned off. What should I do at this time?
1. First of all, we can quickly close the water main valve, which is the most effective method. Then find a plumber to repair and replace it immediately.
The tap is broken. If the main valve can't be closed or the distance is too far, we can also fold the towel and tie the faucet hard, which can greatly reduce the water flow. If you put soap in the water pipe first and then tie it up, you can stop the water flow, but after repairing the tap, you should dry some tap water before drinking.
3. If the faucet is broken and dripping, you can also sharpen the cork of the thermos bottle with a knife, then tap it into the faucet to stop the water flow, and then find someone to repair it.
