How is the tongue cracked?

Cleft lip is a kind of crack on the tongue, which is often caused by dysplasia of lingual muscles.

Cracked tongue, also known as cracked tongue and slotted tongue, refers to cracks and crevices with different widths, criss-crossing and different depths appearing on the back, the first half and the two sides of the tip of the tongue. Cleft lip can be seen in normal people. If there are no conscious symptoms, it is not a pathological disease. There are two types of cleft tongue: congenital and acquired. Congenital is caused by tongue muscle dysplasia. If there is no obvious complaint, treatment is generally not needed. Acquired people are often related to the decrease of tongue muscle tension, and Chinese medicine often thinks it is related to the dysfunction of various organs in the body.

Friends with cleft tongue symptoms should adjust their daily life, diet and psychology. If the pain intensifies and affects their daily life, they should see a doctor at any time.

1. Daily life should be healthy and regular, avoiding overwork and staying up late.

2. Eat a balanced diet, supplement vitamins and protein, and eat more fresh fruits and vegetables. Avoid eating cold, spicy and irritating food to aggravate tongue discomfort.

3. Maintain a good mental state, feel positive and comfortable, and avoid excessive mental stress.

4. Pay attention to oral hygiene and maintain oral health.
