In July 1989, he graduated from the Department of Chemistry, Sichuan University, majoring in physical chemistry (catalysis research) and received a master's degree. Since August 1989, he has worked as an engineer at the Chongqing Chemical Industry Research Institute. Obtained a doctorate from the School of Materials Science and Engineering of Chongqing University in 2002; engaged in postdoctoral research at the Electrical Engineering Postdoctoral Station of Chongqing University from 2003 to 2006. During this period, he went to the United States to study in 2004 and worked at Eastern Michigan University and Visiting scholar at the State University of New York at Buffalo. Now he is mainly engaged in research and teaching in the fields of physical chemistry, materials chemistry, etc. He has been responsible for 4 provincial and ministerial level scientific research projects, 3 national level scientific research projects and 2 provincial and ministerial level scientific research projects. He has been published in domestic and foreign academic publications and He has published more than 30 papers at academic conferences, applied for three patents, and won one first-class Chongqing Science and Technology Award. In 2002, "Research and Application of Surface Treatment Technology for Current Collector Copper Nails of Environmentally Friendly Alkaline Manganese Batteries" won the first prize of Chongqing Science and Technology Progress Award.
As the project leader and principal researcher, he has undertaken 2 National Natural Science Foundation projects, 1 863 high-tech project, 3 major provincial and ministerial level research projects, and 5 enterprise-commissioned projects. Won the first prize and the second prize of provincial and ministerial science and technology awards once. He has published more than 50 academic papers, including more than 10 included in SCI/EI, applied for 20 invention patents, and obtained 4 authorizations.
