The number of kilometers does not count. It's time for maintenance. Whether a car needs maintenance depends on two conditions, one is the mileage and the other is time. Whichever of these two conditions comes first. Strictly speaking, kilometers and time, as long as one of the two conditions is met, the car will be maintained.
Specific maintenance items:
1. Wipers. Inspect it every six months and replace it every year. Because wipers are made of plastic, parking them in a sheltered area can help extend the life of the wipers.
2. Tires. As a rubber product, it has a specific service life, generally four to five years. If it is damaged during use, it is recommended to repair and replace it.
3. Brake pads. This car needs to be inspected every 20,000 miles. When the brake pad thickness is less than 6mm, it must be replaced.
4. Brake fluid. Maintenance must be performed annually.
5. Spark plug. Depending on the type, the service life is also different due to the different types of spark plugs. Most vehicles use nickel alloy spark plugs, and inspection is required when the total mileage of the vehicle increases by more than 20,000 kilometers.
6. Engine oil. Every six months or 5000 kilometers, whichever comes first. A mining truck needs to change its oil after traveling 5,000 kilometers; in synthetic oil, the oil change mileage can be extended to 8,000-10,000 kilometers. Note: Different types of engine oil cannot be mixed.
7. Antifreeze. Maintenance time is 2 years or 40,000 kilometers. It should be noted that the engine cooling system should be cleaned before adding antifreeze, and direct addition of antifreeze mother liquid is prohibited.
8. Brake oil: Maintenance time is 2 years or 40,000 kilometers. It should be noted that replacement should be based on the original model.
9. Manual transmission oil: Maintenance time is 40,000 kilometers. It should be noted that the transmission oil and oil filler plug oil levels should be checked after cooling.
