Kong Ming's patent

Borrowing an arrow from a straw boat is a well-known plot in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms. This plot tells that Zhuge Liang promised to make 100,000 arrows for Zhou Yu within three days, and he also issued a military order for this. In fact, Zhuge Liang had learned that there would be heavy fog in the early morning of the fourth day through night study, so he borrowed 20 boats from Lu Su and went to Cao Jun Camp to beat gongs and drums in the middle of the night.

Zhuge Liang knew that Cao Cao was suspicious by nature. In foggy days, he must suspect that this is a trick to lure the enemy. He only dares to shoot arrows in the distance. Sure enough, as Zhuge Liang expected, Cao Cao could not see the water clearly because of the foggy weather and was afraid of being ambushed, so he could only shoot arrows in the distance. At dawn, Zhuge Liang ordered people to return to Zhou Yu immediately and hand in the 100 thousand arrows he had collected. This plot fully shows Zhuge Liang's wisdom and jealousy, and this story has been circulated for hundreds of years.

In fact, in Romance of the Three Kingdoms, borrowing an arrow from a straw boat is not Zhuge Liang's patent. Sun Jian is the father of Sun Quan and Sun Ce, and the founder of Jiangdong Wu State Foundation. At that time, Sun Jian and Liu Biao were at odds, so they crossed the Yangtze River and attacked Liu Biao. Liu Biao's valiant soldier Howie and Sun Jian confronted each other for several days. Sun Jian knew that Huang Zu had ambushed the crossbowman by the river, so he deliberately sent ships to pass under Huang Zu's nose. These ships come and go dozens of times a day. Ambush in Huang Zu saw the ship, and it took only three days to consume the bow and arrow reserve.

Visible, Sun Jian borrow straw boat archery, much earlier than zhuge liang. Why do people only remember that Zhuge Liang borrowed the arrow from the grass boat? I think it's because Zhuge Liang is really popular with readers, but I have no impression of Sun Jian.
