What's the difference between MP3 and WMA?

The differences between audio formats MP3 and WMA are as follows:

1, sound quality: WMA has better sound quality than MP3 format.

2. As far as compression ratio is concerned, WMA's compression ratio is less than MP3.

3. In terms of technical code stream: WMA completely surpassed MP3 format in the audition of code stream below 128kbps, but when the code stream rose to 128kbps, the sound quality of WMA did not improve as much as MP3.

4. Size of occupied space: WMA of the same file is much smaller than MP#, and the volume of the same file with the same sound quality is about 1/3 smaller than that of MP3, which is very suitable for network streaming media and mobile devices.

5. The rendering ability of high bit rate is low. Compared with WMA with 192kbps, 320kbps MP3 with the same sound source is easily distinguished as superior in sound quality and rendering power. Like MP3, WMA is a file format that weakens data compression, and WMA is not suitable for demanding users.
