Liu Qibin's Scientific Research Work

In scientific research, he presided over 16 vertical and horizontal projects, including 2 national projects, 8 provincial and ministerial projects and 6 Industry-University-Research projects. Among them, scientific research projects 10 have been completed, and 4 projects have passed the technical appraisal organized by the provincial science and technology department, all of which have reached the domestic advanced level. Among Liu Qibin's scientific research achievements, two are very important. The first one is "Study on broadband laser cladding of gradient composite coating of WCp/Ni-based alloy". The innovation of this achievement is that a novel gradient composition design method is proposed, which solves the cracking problem caused by the thermal mismatch between coating and substrate during laser cladding, and provides a good solution for the repair of failed expensive parts. The project has reached the domestic advanced level, and won the third prize of scientific and technological progress in Guizhou Province in 2004. Create direct economic benefits 10 million yuan and indirect social benefits of more than 40 million yuan; The second item is the national invention patent "light absorbing coating for laser heat treatment and its manufacturing method". The patented technology has been applied to laser heat treatment, and achieved more than 5 million yuan of economic benefits and good social benefits. This national invention patent has made important innovations in the research of coating functional substrate materials, rare earth oxide activators and formula screening, reaching the domestic leading level.

Mr. Liu Qibin aims at the international frontier of scientific research and insists on interdisciplinary research. The research field involves composite materials, biomedical materials, electronic functional ceramics and so on. Thanks to his interdisciplinary research work, he has made many achievements with independent intellectual property rights.
