Why can activated alumina balls be used as the best defluorinating agent?

Activated alumina is a spherical white porous particle with uniform particle size, smooth surface, high mechanical strength, strong hygroscopicity, non-swelling and cracking after water absorption, non-toxic and tasteless, and insoluble in water and ethanol.

Under certain operating conditions and regeneration conditions, the drying depth of activated alumina balls is as high as -70 degrees below the dew point temperature, which can be used as defluorinating agent for high fluorine drinking water (with a large defluorinating amount), defluorinating agent for circulating alkanes in alkylbenzene production, deacidifying regenerant for transformer oil, gas drying in oxygen making industry, textile industry and electronics industry, air drying for automatic instruments, desiccant and purifying agent in chemical fertilizer and petrochemical industry.
