What does it mean that there is a designated country in the patents searched by WIPO?

First of all, my friends upstairs have some misunderstandings about PCT. PCT is not a patent right, but a cooperative applicant. Simply put, it is to obtain the application date recognized by all PCT member countries through one application, which simplifies the application and saves the cost, but PCT does not grant the patent right. The designated country is the country that the applicant plans to enter. After entering these countries, if the country authorizes the patent, you have the patent protection right in that country. For example, China is designated to take the exam within 30 months at the latest, or within 32 months after paying the restoration fee. If China Patent Office grants you a patent right, then you have a patent right!
