1. Award Settings

(2) Advanced individuals: President’s medal, outstanding graduate students, outstanding graduate cadres, outstanding graduate students, and advanced individuals in social activities.
2. Selection Scope, Conditions and Proportions
(1) Selection Scope
Those who have the nationality of the People’s Republic of China and the People’s Republic of China within the standard academic system prescribed by the school Non-directed employment full-time graduate students, and their graduate student teams.
The graduate student team includes a collective of graduate students who have achieved outstanding results in certain aspects such as scientific research, academic activities, social practice, volunteer service, innovation competitions, cultural and sports activities, and socialist spiritual civilization construction activities.
(2) Selection conditions
1. Outstanding postgraduate team
(1) Those with clear team development goals, strong organizational skills, leading by example, and close contact with classmates Team leader;

2. Principal’s Medal
The Principal’s Medal is the highest honor for outstanding students selected by the school. Winners of the President's Medal should have good ideological and political quality and moral character, abide by national laws and regulations and school rules and regulations, have a good academic attitude, be academically qualified, have a strong sense of community, enjoy high prestige among classmates, and have typical advanced deeds. At the same time, one of the following conditions should be met:
(1) Excellent academic performance, significant academic achievements, publishing high-quality academic papers in high-level and authoritative academic journals at home and abroad, and having a certain influence; Receive high evaluations from peer experts;
(2) Have strong scientific research capabilities, participate in major national science and technology projects or undertake important tasks in major research projects, achieve outstanding scientific research results, and be recognized by provincial and ministerial levels and above commendation awards;

2. Outstanding graduate students
(1) Have good ideological and political quality and moral character, abide by national laws and regulations and school rules and regulations, and set an example among classmates.
(2) Have a correct learning attitude, good innovative awareness and ability, and obtain the first-class academic scholarship from the school that year; among them:
Master students: publish academic papers in domestic and foreign publications , or participated in scientific research projects and achieved certain results, or obtained national invention patents, or received awards in science and technology and subject competitions at or above the school level (excluding encouragement awards).
Ph.D. candidates: Publish academic papers in official international journals or domestic core journals (second-year Ph.D.s and above); participate in scientific research projects and achieve certain results, or obtain national invention patents, or be at the school level Receive awards in the above science and technology and subject competitions (excluding awards of an encouraging nature).
(3) Have strong enterprising spirit, teamwork spirit and social responsibility. 3. Outstanding graduate student cadres
Meet the basic conditions for "outstanding graduate students" and meet the following two conditions:
(1) The selection object is the school ( A member of the presidium or department head of the graduate student union of the college), or a member of the graduate student party branch or class committee, or the main person in charge of the graduate student association registered by the school.
(2) Have strong work ability and dedication, and have a strong organizational concept; be able to complete various tasks assigned by the organization well, and have outstanding work performance; be able to maintain close contact with and Unite classmates, serve classmates enthusiastically, and have high prestige among classmates.
4. Outstanding graduate students
Have good ideological and political quality and moral character, abide by national laws and regulations and school rules and regulations, have excellent academic performance, complete their studies and obtain a degree, and at the same time Meet one of the following conditions:

5. Advanced individuals in social activities
(1) Have good ideological and political quality and moral character, abide by national laws and regulations and school disciplines, have a correct learning attitude, and never fail the exam ;
(2) Actively participate in social activities and play a backbone role in them, with outstanding performance. Social activities mainly include: work of student organizations at all levels of the school (including student associations registered by the school), social practice activities, social welfare activities, youth volunteer service activities or community service work, extracurricular scientific and technological innovation activities, campus cultural, artistic and sports activities, etc.
(3) Selection ratio
Outstanding graduate student teams: no more than 20 teams are selected each year;
President’s Medal: no more than 10 teams are selected each year, based on the selection conditions and principles No more than 2 of the same (similar) category;
Excellent graduate students: within 10 of the total number of graduate students participating in the evaluation that year;
Excellent graduate student cadres: within 3 of the total number of graduate students participating in the evaluation that year;
Excellent graduate students: within 10 of the total number of graduate students that year;
Advanced individuals in social activities: within 25 of the total number of graduate students that participated in the evaluation that year.
3. Selection time and organizational procedures
(1) Selection time
Outstanding graduate students are selected in March every year, and other awards are selected in September every year. .
(2) Advanced collective organization procedures
1. Team declaration. The graduate team applies according to the selection conditions and fills out the application form.
2. Primary selection recommendation. Each college adopts an effective organizational form (grade, class, party branch, etc.) based on the actual situation, conducts democratic selection, determines the list of recommended teams, and submits the opinions to the college after the counselor signs their opinions.
3. College selection. The college sets up a review group consisting of deputy secretary, graduate counselor, youth league committee secretary, graduate academic staff, and student representatives to determine the recommended list of "outstanding graduate student teams" and report to the Graduate Affairs Department after 3 working days.
4. School evaluation. The Graduate Student Affairs Department organizes the evaluation of "Excellent Graduate Student Team" and issues a commendation document after the school-wide announcement for 5 working days without objection.
(3) Advanced individual organization procedures
1. Individual declaration. Individual students apply according to the selection conditions, fill out the evaluation form (deeds and deeds must be attached when applying for the Principal's Medal), and the instructor signs their opinions.
2. Primary selection recommendation. Each college adopts an effective organizational form (grade, class, party branch, etc.) according to the actual situation, conducts democratic selection, determines the list of recommended candidates, and submits the opinions to the college after the counselor signs their opinions.
3. College selection. The college has established a review group composed of deputy secretary, graduate counselor, secretary of the Youth League committee, graduate academic staff and student representatives to select "outstanding graduate students", "outstanding graduate cadres", "outstanding graduate students", and "advanced individuals in social activities", and determine ?President's Medal? Recommended candidates will be reported to the Graduate Affairs Department 3 working days after being announced.
The graduate student union of the school lists separate selection indicators for "outstanding graduate cadres", which are democratically selected by the graduate student union. Supervisors and counselors sign their opinions. The candidates recommended by the graduate student union are reviewed by the youth league committee of the school and then reported to the graduate student affairs department.
4. School evaluation. The Graduate Affairs Department evaluates the winners of the President's Medal, reviews and determines the list of other advanced individuals, and issues the commendation document after it is announced to the whole school for 5 working days without objection.
(4) The Graduate Affairs Department organizes the selection and application of postgraduate students to participate in the selection and application of advanced students across the country and Jiangsu Province. The application targets are mainly the winners of the latest President’s Medal, and those who are not qualified are from outstanding graduate students and outstanding graduate students. Select the best among the cadres.
4. Others
1. The principal’s medal, the advanced deeds and achievements of the candidates selected for outstanding graduates cover the postgraduate period, and the progress of other candidates selected for outstanding graduates The time when the deeds and achievements occurred only covers the previous school year; in principle, the honorary title of Principal Medal can only be awarded to the same student once during his/her studies.
2. "President's Medal", "Excellent Graduate Student", "Excellent Graduate Cadre", and "Advanced Individual in Social Activities" will not be evaluated in the same selection.
