Historical Evolution School was founded in 1977, when it was Nanchang Branch of Jiangxi Normal University. 1984 was renamed Nanchang Teachers College, and the construction of Nanchang Vocational and Technical Teachers College began. 1987 was upgraded to an undergraduate college and officially named Nanchang Vocational and Technical Teachers College. In 2002, it was renamed Jiangxi Normal University of Science and Technology.
Subject-specific schools are the main body of granting master's degrees, with 6 master's programs, 7 provincial key disciplines and 46 undergraduate majors, including 2 national majors, 4 provincial majors, 2 provincial teaching teams and 1 1. There are 3 provincial key laboratories, 1 provincial key research bases of humanities and social sciences and 65438 municipal scientific research demonstration bases, 3 provincial experimental teaching demonstration centers, 2 provincial engineering technology research centers and 3 municipal key laboratories. The motto of the talent training school is "Mingde Ye Jing". Since its establishment, * * * has trained more than 30,000 full-time undergraduate and junior college graduates, making positive contributions to Jiangxi's economic and social development. At present, there are more than 20,000 students of all kinds. In recent years, the employment rate of graduates is higher than the average employment rate of colleges and universities in the province. Students have won 580 awards at or above the provincial level in various competitions and scientific and cultural activities such as the World Aerobics Championship, the National University Games, the National Mathematical Modeling Competition for College Students, the English Competition, the Electronic Design Competition and the Advertising Art Design Competition. Among them, the members of the school aerobics team won the first aerobics world gold medal in China on behalf of the national team and were awarded the "Special Contribution Award" by the State Sports General Administration.
