1, design
Boeing is early, Airbus is late. Developed countries pay more attention to intellectual property rights. What Boeing has used is absolutely forbidden by Airbus. For example, Boeing cockpit has many toggle switches, and Airbus has many buttons. It is not necessarily the development of ergonomics (maybe a little, but not the main thing), but more of a patent issue. There is an obvious example. The switch for external lighting is also in the form of toggle switch, but the position is opposite to that of Boeing. Boeing is open forward and closed backward, while Airbus is the opposite.
2. Manufacturing concept
Boeing believes in people. He regards the pilot as the ultimate guarantee of the aircraft, and the requirements for flight driving are much higher than those of Airbus. Airbus, on the other hand, thinks that the machine is the most reliable, and the driving technology can be accomplished by almost all kinds of computers on the plane. So Boeing asked for an emergency manual takeover of the plane, while Airbus, how to put it, has a saying: Give up if you don't know how to fly. The plane flies better than you.
Airbus has multiple protections for aircraft. Even when the autopilot is disconnected, Airbus can automatically take over the aircraft when the protection is activated. When Boeing's autopilot is disconnected, there is only a warning, and the automatic unloading of flaps has been the most active correction made by the aircraft itself. Which is better? I don't know. What if Airbus's computer is stupid? What should Boeing pilots do if they are stupid? These are extremely negative effects. Unfortunately, I fell off the plane because of these two situations.
3. Material technology
Boeing won completely. Airbus uses a lot of composite materials to make the fuselage lighter and more economical. On the other hand, Boeing planes are very strong. Boeing aircraft has fewer discharge brushes than Airbus (compare 737 series and 320 series). Because it is very powerful. Fortunately, the plane that Asiana crashed in America was a 777. If it was Airbus, two or three people would not have died in that overload.
