Weilai mobile phone patent

Most mobile phones now support wireless charging. You can charge your mobile phone by putting it on the wireless charging board. Although the speed of wireless charging is slower than wired charging, wireless charging is simpler and faster to some extent. If this technology is applied to our new energy vehicles, is it particularly interesting?

Recently, the National Standards Management Committee issued four national standards for wireless charging of electric vehicles. It mainly regulates some technical requirements, performance requirements, functional requirements and safety requirements of wireless charging system for electric vehicles in public and private applications.

Weilai applied for the national patent of vehicle wireless charging system on April 16 this year. The system mainly includes a charging transmitter, a charging receiver, a first driving device, a second driving device, a control device and a vehicle acquisition device.

At present, the wireless charging method adopted at home and abroad is to install an energy receiving device on the vehicle chassis and an energy emitting device on the ground, and generate an alternating magnetic field by alternating current with a certain frequency. The overall principle is similar to the wireless charging of mobile phones. But in fact, this transmission mode is inefficient and costly, and more importantly, the magnetic field will generate annular current to the annular conductor in the car. Weilai's patent information shows that the wireless charging system invented by Weilai can effectively reduce the annular current generated by the annular conductor. As for the effect, we still don't know.

Friends who have used wireless charging of mobile phones should know that wireless charging of mobile phones will lead to fever of mobile phones, so that many friends do not like wireless charging. In fact, this is because all kinds of losses will be dissipated in the form of heat during the operation of the wireless charging system. This is especially true for the high power of car wireless charging. In the accessible parts of the system, high temperature can burn cats and dogs, but it can ignite fallen leaves and dead branches. Especially when the receiving coil of the car is not completely aligned with the ground charging and transmitting module, the heating phenomenon of wireless charging will be more serious. In addition, the safety of electromagnetic radiation is also a big test, whether the electric field intensity and magnetic induction intensity of the wireless charging system are safe when working. Especially in large parking lots, what happens when hundreds of wireless charging systems work at the same time?

In addition to these problems, wireless charging also faces the problem of high cost. At present, mainstream car companies such as SAIC Roewe, BAIC New Energy and BYD are also conducting research and development experiments on wireless charging of electric vehicles. Although there is no mass production model supporting wireless charging in China at present, I think it should be coming soon. Wireless charging is an important prerequisite for unmanned driving in the future. Imagine that in the future, we can get off the bus after arriving at our destination, park the car in the parking space and automatically charge the next trip.
