The central air conditioning subsidiary of Hisense Group is Qingdao Hisense Hitachi Air Conditioning Systems Co., Ltd., referred to as Hisense Hitachi. Hisense is the Hisense brand. Hisense Air Conditioning was established in 1996 and is the earliest enterprise in China dedicated to R&D, production and promotion of inverter air conditioners. It is a professional enterprise integrating R&D, air-conditioning manufacturing, sales and technical services. The company has two R&D centers in Qingdao and Shunde, China, with 400 R&D employees. By 2020, more than 3,000 scientific research results will be achieved at the national, provincial and municipal levels. It has three major production bases in Qingdao, Jiangmen and Huzhou, with an annual production capacity of more than 12 million sets and exports to more than 130 countries and regions around the world.
