1977 graduated from the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Fuzhou University, majoring in physical chemistry, and then engaged in the research of crystal materials in fujian institute of research on the structure. 199 1 to 1998 studied in the uk and obtained a doctorate in physics from university of strathclyde. 1998 returned to China. He is currently the director of the Crystal Materials Research Office of Fujian Institute of Material Structure, the scientific and technological consultant of Fuzhou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, the deputy director of the Crystal Growth and Materials Professional Committee of China Silicate Society, the vice chairman of the magazine Synthetic Crystal, the editorial board of Structural Chemistry, the visiting researcher of the National Special Mineral Materials Engineering Technology Research Center and the visiting professor of Fujian Normal University. Research direction: engaged in the research of new technology functional crystal materials such as laser crystal and nonlinear optical crystal, including material synthesis, phase diagram research, structure analysis, crystal growth, laser spectrum and optical properties research. Since joining the research work, he has won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award1; China Academy of Sciences Science and Technology Progress Award 2 first prizes, 1 second prize; Second prize of Fujian Science and Technology Award1; Fujian Province
