The charger of typec is much more complicated than the charger of ordinary round mouth. Ordinary round ports usually have a single voltage output, but the charging protocol of typec usually has several levels of voltage output, and then it needs to communicate with the connected equipment. The master control of port C is more expensive than the round port. But it should not be doubled.
