Necessary procedures for patent application
Including the following, any authorized patent must go through the following procedures.
(1) Submit the patent application documents, patent application fees and other possible expenses to the acceptance office in China National Intellectual Property Administration or the agencies in various provinces and cities;
(2) China National Intellectual Property Administration conducts a review;
(3) China National Intellectual Property Administration issues authorization notice and performs authorization procedures.
In order to ensure authorization, it is best to entrust a patent agent to act as an agent.
Specific steps of domestic patent application:
(1) Provide technical disclosure, explain your technical points, and take photos or provide design drawings for the appearance.
(2) The writing of application documents is generally completed by the agent.
(3) The application and fees shall be submitted from the date when the patent is submitted to the Patent Office to the date when the authorization formalities are completed and the authorization certificate is obtained. If a patent agency is entrusted, the cost of the whole process is about 5,000 yuan for each patented invention, 2,000 yuan for utility model and 1.500 yuan for design. The fees charged by agencies are based on their ability. They are willing to fight and suffer. There are institutions with high fees and institutions with low fees. As for the level and ability, people have different opinions.
