1979 In Sydney, Australia, Canadian Bill Wilson and Australian Robert Pongrass established Wilcom to develop and sell computerized embroidery printing system. Moritz Embroidery Factory is the first company to use electronic cards produced by Wilcom to transform its shuttle embroidery machine into computerization.
