What are the corrosion forms of condenser copper tubes?

The supervision of circulating water is the key and difficult point of steam supervision in thermal power plants. Due to various reasons, corrosion and scaling of condenser copper tubes are very common. This paper introduces the concrete work done in the protection of condenser copper tube in Zhunneng Power Plant for more than ten years, briefly discusses the two main corrosion types of condenser copper tube: dezincification corrosion and erosion corrosion, and introduces the protection methods of condenser copper tube according to these two corrosion types, which has a guiding role for practical application.

(1) Electrochemical Corrosion The electrochemical corrosion caused by the material relationship of the copper tube itself leads to perforation and dezincification corrosion of the copper tube. ⑵ Impact corrosion Because the water contains mechanical sundries, eddy current is generated at the nozzle, which leads to the ulceration and erosion damage of the inlet end of the pipeline. (3) Mechanical damage Mechanical damage is mainly caused by poor heat treatment of copper materials, stress generated during pipe expansion and vibration in operation, which causes cracks in copper pipes. ?
