Who invented bubble gum?
In order to keep a secret, the boss never revealed the method of making bubble gum, and even refused to apply for a patent. The patent for the chemical formula of bubble gum was registered at 1928 by a company named "Dubble Bubble" in Philadelphia, USA. The inventor is Gilbert B.Mustin, Sr. Since 1960, the company has always insisted that the actual inventor is Walter Diemer. Walter Daimer, an accountant in Philadelphia, USA, invented bubble gum 75 years ago, when he called it Dubble Bubble. It was not until 1937 that the first batch of bubble gum products came out. In fact, according to archaeologists, the origin of bubble gum may be traced back to the Mayans in the 3rd century. As far back as 1500 years ago, there was a kind of gum growing on Yuda Dan Island near Mexico today. Maya collected latex from trees and added honey, sugarcane juice and natural pigments to make a pink soft glue, which is elastic and insoluble. This kind of candy, chewed in your mouth, can clean your mouth and dental calculus, and can also blow bubbles for fun. This is the earliest bubble gum in the world.
