He has profound knowledge and rich engineering experience in the research of welding mechanics, the development and application of special welding technology and equipment development, and has achieved a series of pioneering and innovative results. He is the founder of the theory of "low stress and no deformation welding", the inventor of "low stress and no deformation welding method for thin shell structure", the pioneer of several special welding technologies in China Aircraft Manufacturing Engineering, and the "welding transient thermal strain moire testing technology" led by him.

Li Congqing, a researcher and postgraduate tutor, was born in August 1963. He is the chief expert of fusion welding technology in AVIC basic research institute. 1985 graduated from Huazhong institute of technology with a bachelor's degree in welding, 1995 with a master's degree in engineering. Long-term engaged in welding technology research, engaged in welding methods, processes and equipment technology, engineering research and development, welding and other work. The research results are widely used in key projects such as space rockets, shenzhou spaceship, missiles, aero-engines, advanced aircraft, advanced missile speedboats and high-speed trains, and won 1 national invention awards, invention patents and several provincial and ministerial-level scientific and technological progress awards.
