FAW has officially applied for a patent for the new FAW R008, which is a fashionable small crossover. It will be listed in China automobile market later this year, and the price will be around 50,000 yuan. R008 made its debut as a concept car at the Shanghai Auto Show on 20 1 1, and now it seems ready for mass production. R008 is based on Li Xia N5 and will be produced by Tianjin FAW under the First Automobile Factory. Power will come from 1.3kW, 67kw and 120nm, and it will be equipped with a 5-speed manual gear.
