A single optical fiber port can be taken out without disassembly;
Optical fiber trays are available in 3-port and 6-port specifications. Suitable for optical fiber with less cores in wiring room.
Optical fibers are mainly divided into two categories:
Single-mode optical fiber: generally, optical fiber jumpers are represented by yellow, and connectors and protection are represented by blue; Long transmission distance.
Multimode optical fiber: Generally, optical fiber jumpers are indicated by orange, and some are indicated by gray. Connectors and protective devices shall be beige or black. The transmission distance is short.
Pay attention to the use of optical fiber
The transmitting and receiving wavelengths of the optical modules at both ends of the optical fiber jumper must be the same, that is, the optical modules at both ends of the optical fiber must have the same wavelength. A simple way to distinguish them is that the colors of optical modules should be the same.
Generally speaking, short-wave optical modules use multimode fiber (orange fiber) and long-wave optical modules use single-mode fiber (yellow fiber) to ensure the accuracy of data transmission.
The optical fiber should not be excessively bent into a circle in use, which will increase the attenuation of light in the transmission process.
After using the optical fiber jumper, the optical fiber connector must be protected with a protective sleeve. Dust and oil will damage the optical fiber coupler.
