Some innovative research achievements have been made in terrane boundaries, ophiolite, active continental margin plate system, mantle rocks, uplift of peripheral orogenic belts, establishment of ultra-high pressure metamorphic belts in Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and China, and many important discoveries have been made: two ultra-high pressure metamorphic belts have been established and defined in the northern margin of Qaidam in western China, and an important understanding that there are giant ultra-high pressure metamorphic belts and two ultra-high pressure metamorphic events in the central orogenic belt has been put forward; The discovery of Permian high-pressure/ultrahigh-pressure eclogite belt in Lhasa terrane in the southern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau has changed the understanding of the crustal framework of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and put forward a new understanding of the deep subduction of the Paleo-Tethys ocean basin. Based on the discovery of deep minerals such as diamond in Tibet, Russian Urals and Myanmar, a new type of diamond production is proposed, named ophiolite diamond. He has won the second prize of National Natural Science, the first prize of land and resources science and technology, and the scientific and technological progress prize of He Liang Heli Fund. 20 1 1 Elected member of American Geological Society and mineralogical society of america.

Zhao Yiming: Researcher, Institute of Mineral Resources, Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences. He has been engaged in geological and geochemical research of mineral deposits for a long time and is an academic leader of iron deposits and skarn deposits in China. Through the anatomical study of more than ten typical iron ore deposits and the comprehensive and in-depth summary study of iron ore deposits in China in cooperation with Mr. Cheng for many times, the iron ore research in China has been raised to the international level. The dozens of skarn deposits in China are deeply and systematically studied. For the first time, a wide range of sodium metasomatism was found in the inner contact zone of Daye iron mine in Hubei Province, and it is proposed that sodium metasomatism is an important prospecting indicator of skarn iron deposits. Magmatic magnesium skarn was discovered. Two new types of metasomatic formations began to form: manganese skarn and alkaline skarn; More than ten rare metasomatic minerals, such as aluminum diopside, water gun spar, magnesite and pyrophyllite, have been discovered for the first time in China. Editor-in-chief published eight maps of single mineral resources such as iron, copper, lead and zinc. In recent years, a new type of large anatase deposit has been discovered, explored and studied in Zhenglan Banner, Inner Mongolia. The related achievements won 5 second prizes for scientific and technological achievements and 2 excellent book prizes from the Ministry of Geology and Mineral Resources and the Ministry of Land and Resources. Won the title of "National Model Worker of Geology and Mineral Resources System".
