Introduction of Jiangsu University:
The history of running a school can be traced back to 1902, when Liu Kunyi and Zhang Zhidong founded Sanjiang Normal School, and Nanjing University and Nanjing Institute of Technology continued their string songs. 1960 Nanjing institute of technology (now southeast university) set up Zhenjiang agricultural machinery college independently. 1978 was identified as one of the 88 key universities in China by the State Council.
198 1 became the first batch of doctoral and master's degree awarding units in China. 1982 and 1994 were renamed as Jiangsu Institute of Technology and Jiangsu University of Technology. In August of 20001year, it merged with Zhenjiang Medical College and Zhenjiang Normal College to form Jiangsu University. In 2003, Zhenjiang Jiang Bin Hospital was transferred to the school.
As of February 2023, the school campus covers an area of more than 3,000 mu, with a building area of10.2 million square meters; There are 27 colleges and 98 undergraduate majors; There are 15 first-class doctoral programs, 45 first-class master programs, 2 1 master degree categories, and 13 post-doctoral research stations;
At present, there are more than 2700 full-time teachers and 40000 students, including graduate students 13000 and 2300 international students with academic qualifications. The collaborative innovation center of modern agricultural equipment and technology led by the school was recognized as the collaborative innovation center jointly built by the provincial offices.
