What are the requirements for the patent specification and abstract?

The attached drawings of the specification require:

1. Drawing tools should be used, including computer and black ink. The lines shall be uniform, clear and deep enough, and shall not be colored or altered. Engineering blueprints shall not be used.

2. The section line in the section shall not hinder the clear identification of the reference mark line and the main line.

6. The flow chart and block diagram should be attached as drawings, and the necessary words and symbols should be given in their boxes. In general, photos shall not be used as attached drawings.

7. The appended drawings of the instruction manual shall be numbered with Arabic numerals.

The attached drawings shall be one of the attached drawings in the specification. If the applicant fails to submit the attached drawings, the examiner may pass.

Inform the applicant to make corrections, or appoint one ex officio, and notify the applicant. If the examiner confirms that there are no suitable abstract drawings to indicate, he may not require the applicant to make corrections.

If the attached abstract obviously fails to explain the main technical features of the technical scheme of the invention, or the attached abstract is not one of the drawings in the specification, the examiner may notify the applicant to make corrections, or designate a copy ex officio, and notify the applicant.

2. The size and clarity of the attached drawings shall ensure that when the drawings are reduced to 4cm× 6cm, all the details in the drawings can still be clearly distinguished.

3. The abstract can contain the chemical formula that can best explain the invention, and this chemical formula can be regarded as an abstract diagram.
