Jiangxi College of Traditional Chinese Medicine is a full-time ordinary institution of higher learning jointly organized by Jiangxi Provincial People's Government and Fuzhou Municipal People's Government. It is the national examination base for Chinese medicine practitioners, the construction base of Chinese medicine colleges (Jianjiang Medicine) and the cultural communication base of Chinese medicine in Jiangxi Province. The school, formerly known as Fuzhou Health School in Jiangxi Province, was established in 1958. 1986 transformed into Jiangxi Fuzhou Chinese Medicine School; 1998 was renamed Jiangxi traditional Chinese medicine school; In May 2004, it was upgraded to Jiangxi College of Traditional Chinese Medicine with the approval of the Ministry of Education.
